Expert safeguarding support and advice for education
Whether you are looking to address gaps in your safeguarding and child protection arrangements or need support to implement changes to your policies and procedures, our expert education safeguarding consultants are here to help.
What we offer
Our education safeguarding consultants cover all aspects of safeguarding and child protection, including:
- the role of the nominated child protection lead
- referrals and record keeping
- staff training and induction
- child protection procedures and concerns
- pastoral care
- online safety
- safeguarding in the curriculum.
We work with you to tailor our services to the needs and context of your school, taking a child-centred approach to everything we do.
We can provide a health check on your existing safeguarding and child protection policies or a more in-depth review and recommendations. Whatever you need, our education consultants take the time to understand your requirements and provide specialised support.
We will work with you to highlight best practice and identify areas for improvement. We can offer follow up support via phone and email or, where appropriate, further visits. And we will provide details of resources for further support and information.
"We valued the particular insight with which Kay approached our particular setting."
Who we work with
We work with groups across the education sector, including independent and special schools and multi-academy trusts. Our specialist consultants will work with the designated safeguarding lead (DSL), designated teacher for child protection (DTCP), child protection coordinator (CPC) or designated senior person for child protection (DSP). Our consultants can also work with other staff members such as deputy leads, head of pastoral, heads of year, attendance leads, teaching assistants and school governors.
No matter what support your school requires, our independent support is here to help.
"[The consultant] was well informed and well prepared... actively listening to our practice."
How much does it cost?
We recognise that every school's requirements are different, so we match our support to your needs. Our services are cost-effective and tailored to your specific context. We offer a free, no obligation, initial call to help you understand what help we can offer and how much it might cost.
What's more, every penny we earn is invested back into our work to help children. So, by using our education consultancy services, you’ll also be helping protect children from abuse and neglect across the UK.
"Our vision and focus is clearer directly due to our helpful work with the consultant and the quality of the training."
