Speak out Stay safe: alternative provisions terms of supply

The NSPCC Speak out Stay safe: alternative provisions practitioner toolkit and associated resources are the intellectual property of National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

They are designed for use solely by suitably qualified professionals/practitioners and are provided to you for downloading.

The associated resources cover topics related to abuse including neglect, physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse and bullying. The resources are to be used for their intended purpose only, and must be delivered in a sensitive, age-appropriate manner.

You:

  • confirm that you have an up-to-date safeguarding policy in place which is at least the same standard or higher than the NSPCC Safeguarding Code and complies with the LSCB section 11 audit

  • agree to adhere to that policy in full should any safeguarding concerns arise during the use of this resource and take full responsibility for implementing and adhering to your safeguarding policy. This includes taking appropriate action in accordance with your policy should any safeguarding concerns arise during or as a result of this resource

  • agree that you/those involved in the delivery of the Speak out Stay safe Alternative Provisions Practitioner Toolkit have a valid enhanced DBS check, i.e. a check of the Disclosure and Barring Service in England, Isle of Man and Wales, Access NI in Northern Ireland or PVG-check managed and delivered by Disclosure Scotland in Scotland

  • will not share the Speak out Stay safe Alternative Provisions Programme content and Toolkit with any other individual or third party organisation without the prior permission from the NSPCC.
