Every school has a governing body, although what this looks like and what it is called depends on the type and size of the school. You may be a governor, a proprietor, a trustee or a member of the board. Whatever the name, the role and responsibilities remain the same.
This course is for everyone performing a governing role, whether you are a dedicated safeguarding governor or another member of the governing body.
It covers legislation and guidance for England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
