This course is suitable for anyone who works with children and young people. No prior child protection training is needed.
This includes people working in schools and education, children's social work and voluntary and community groups, as well as adults who may come into contact with children less often such as police, medical professionals and those working in the housing, sport, faith and travel sectors.
County lines can happen to any child, anywhere. The course therefore uses explanations and examples that are applicable to many different situations, as well as some sector-specific advice for schools.
It covers legislation and guidance for England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
