Harmful sexual behaviour (HSB) training

This course is for anyone working or volunteering with children and young people, including those who are required to manage safeguarding and child protection issues.

This includes teachers and other professionals working in schools and education settings, and healthcare workers as well as staff in other sectors.

The elearning course provides a complete overview of HSB, and how to recognise and respond to incidents.

In-person training for teams

We also offer an in-depth two-day training course for teams who may come into contact with children affected by or displaying HSB, including those working in children’s services and multi-agency partnerships.

Continuing professional development, or CPD for short, helps professionals keep their skills and knowledge up to date. It demonstrates your commitment to safeguarding children and upholding the standards of your profession.

Some professional associations have mandatory CPD or safeguarding training requirements for their members, but all professionals will benefit from investing time in their CPD. And taking an online CPD course means you can train at your own pace, wherever suits you.
