Working at your own pace, you’ll learn how to:
- recognise possible abuse
- respond appropriately
- report your concerns
- record your observations.
How the online course works
Each section takes about 30-45 minutes to complete and is followed by five questions. At the end of each section you’ll be given a full explanation of the correct and incorrect answers.
The course includes:
- teaching pages
- film clips
- audio recordings
- reflective tasks
- interactive learning activities and quizzes.
You have access to your course for one year following purchase. Once you've successfully completed it you can download a personalised certificate of achievement.
Who is this course for?
Child protection for school governors is an introduction course for governors. You don’t need any previous child protection training.
Child protection for school governors will work in most browsers, though we recommend that you use Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari or Firefox. You will need to make sure your browser is up to date for the course to run.
