In February 2020 Ofsted, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), HMI Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) and HMI Probation (HMIP)1 published a report looking at the multi-agency response to child sexual abuse in the family environment. The report follows a series of joint targeted area inspections (JTAIs) looking at how well agencies are working together in local areas to help and protect children in England.
