E-safety training to help you keep children and young people safe online

Gain the knowledge and confidence you need to help keep children safe in an increasingly connected online world.

Our online safety training will help you learn about the 4Cs framework of online risk - content, contact, conduct and commerce - helping you to understand the dangers children face online and respond with a safeguarding-focused approach.

Through realistic scenarios, interactive activities and reflective tasks, you'll also explore the vital role of parents, carers, schools and organisations in creating safer digital experiences.

This course will cover:

  • harmful online content, including misinformation, hate speech, pornography and radicalising content
  • the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence (AI)
  • supporting children to develop critical thinking and digital resilience
  • safeguarding responsibilities, policies and procedures related to online safety
  • how to identify when concerns should be escalated and know how to access additional support.
